Eepples: Managing your Breast-milk just got easy

????????????????????????????????

 (Eepples cute Milkcharm labels)

There is nothing more disheartening than peering into the fridge at 2am (while holding a starving newborn) and forgetting which bottle of expressed breast-milk is next. Either you forgot to add a label in the first place – sleep-deprivation and raging post-natal hormones will do that to you –  or the label simply fell off or got smudged. It’s time to take the stress of yourself – after all, you have enough to deal with, right?

Meet – Eepples – makers of simple, innovative products designed to help you easily label, track, and organize your breast milk supply.

How does it work?

Above is the MilkCharm – the award winning dial system that lets you quickly and easily set and read the day and time when your breast milk was pumped.

Breast milk stored in the refrigerator:

  1. Set the dial on the Day Side to the day the breast milk was pumped.  Use “am” for morning, the day itself for mid-day (eg. “su”, “mo”, “tu”, etc) , or “pm” for afternoon or evening.
  2. Optional: if even more detail is desired, set the dial on the Time Side to the time of day the milk was pumped.
  3. Hang the MilkCharm from the neck of the bottle with the Day Side facing out.  (For thin, cylindrical bottles without a neck, see below.)
  4. Place the bottle in the fridge.
  5. Please remove the MilkCharm from the bottle prior to feeding.

Breast milk stored at room temperature:

  1. Set the dial on the Time Side to the hour that the milk is being set out on the counter.
  2. Hang the MilkCharm from the neck of the bottle with the Time Side facing out.  (For thin, cylindrical bottles without a neck, see below.)
  3. Please remove the MilkCharm from the bottle prior to feeding.

Breast milk or formula that baby didn’t finish drinking or fresh formula stored in the fridge:

  1. Set the dial on the Time Side to the time of day baby stopped drinking from the bottle or when fresh formula was mixed or the fresh pre-mixed formula container was open.
  2. Hang the MilkCharm from the neck of the bottle with the Time Side facing out.  (For thin, cylindrical bottles without a neck, see below.)
  3. Place the bottle in the fridge.
  4. Please remove the MilkCharm from the bottle prior to feeding.

For thin, cylindrical bottles without a neck:

  1. Slip the silicone band over the bottle.
  2. Twist the end of the silicone band on the opposite side of the bottle as the charm, forming a a new loop.
  3. Slip the loop over the bottle a second time…like putting an elastic band onto a ponytail!

What’s it made from?

The MilkCharm is made with BPA and phthalate free materials, is dishwasher safe and works with ANY bottle. It is also great for formula, unfinished bottles, baby food and many other food containers, so it’s usefulness last long after you’re done breastfeeding.  Avoid spoilage and feed your baby with confidence with the MilkCharm.  Made in the USA.
